Christmas BBQ Picnic

We made the most of the dry part of Saturday the 7th of December with a XMAS BBQ Picnic before taking shelters under the roof of our houses.

WINGS and Multicultural Whangarei had the privilege to be welcomed by the lovely host at Wai-A-Ariki Food Forest in Onerahi were we started the day with a ceremony of prayer and planting of an Olive tree. A beautifully and thoughtfully created forest, with fruit trees, banana and other edibles for human, birds and bugs.

A group of us enjoyed the day filled with games for both the kids and adults, music and delicious food brought by everyone accompanied by BBQ.

Not to forget the Santa who came is looking for people who have been good this year and guess what looks like Santa had got us all some candies making our day cheerful.
