WINGS is an organisation set up to help new migrants to New Zealand settle into their new country.

WINGS welcomes all women whether you are from another town, country, a New Zealand local, or you simply just want to meet new people.

WINGS isn't for women only. We have family events and social gatherings which include children, spouses, partners and friends.

Everyone has something to offer one another whether it be networking, arts, crafts, walking, a good book, potluck dinners, sharing cultures & traditions, support, or just enjoying a cuppa and a good chat.

We have members from America, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, England, France, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Kenya, Mauritius, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, The Netherlands, Ukraine, and  Zimbabwe.

Women's International Newcomers Group Social meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Markwick House, 1 Norfolk St, Whangarei, Northland, at 7pm.

Meeting Theme: 7th OCTOBER, 2009  7:00pm  GINNY'S HERBS:  Ginny from Ginny's Herbs will give us some gardening tips. Bring a plant and swap it for another. This is optional.  $3.00 at door, Members free. #1Norfolk St. Markwick House.

Membership Fees - 1st April 2009 - 31st March 2010
$25.00 entitles you to free entry to Wednesday night meetings, a name tag and discount off certain events.
